Snow! Lots of snow! Well, for here, it seems like lots of snow. Overnight, we received five or six inches of heavy, wet snow. By 6am, the temps were high enough that all the precipitation mostly changed to rain. School was canceled and the kids got a snow... er.... slush day!
They went out to play in the slush and when it was time to come in, the three kids brought bowls of fresh white snow.
What to do with a bowl of snow? Henry had the idea of pouring lemonade over the top. Yum!
Merrick agreed.
Then Alice came up with a new creation - lemonade and cherry Gatorade. Even better yet!
An unexpected day off from school and homemade slushies. Perfect.
