If Dan would have been with us, we would have had a much more in-depth tour of Montana State University. He knows every nook and cranny of that campus, as well as the secret passageways to get into those nooks and crannies. But he was still in Alaska, so I showed the kids the highlights - the Union, Library, Engineering (where Dan spent most of his time) and Education (where I spent most of my time) Buildings, and the stadium. Go Bobcats!
And, not to be missed, we spent a couple hours at the Museum of the Rockies. It features one of the finest and largest collections of dinosaur fossils in the world. And, Big Mike!
In addition to the many, many dinosaur exhibits, there were lots of cool geology displays.
The traveling exhibit was frogs. The coolest thing was this interactive kiosk where Henry actually dissected a frog. It was so awesome. He touched the screen to pin the frog down, cut the mid-section, and pulled out the organs. Great fun!
There was also a neat Yellowstone exhibit.

And there were these amazing recycled animals all over the museum. They were really fascinating.
It was a fun visit to Bozeman and MSU, but then it was time to hit the road and get to Wyoming.
