Now that Henry can read, he is taking part in the Dog Days of Summer at our library. For the month of August, he gets to spend 1/2 hr each week reading to a dog. It's really cool. The dog Henry gets to read to is Hector - the hugest, and most gentle, Weimaraner I've ever seen. Hector just kind of hangs out. Listens to Henry for awhile, takes a nap, lays in Henry's lap, takes a nap. He's awesome. Alice, although she can't read, gets to come along and pet Hector, and twist his ears, and hug him, and coo to him, and wish we could take him home.
