The first snowfall of the year is always the best. So what if it was barely a skiff of snow and the grass was still showing? That didn't stop my kids from running out in the snow, making snow/grass angels, trying to pack a snowball which turned to fluff, and shoveling 1/4" of snow. We live in the Pacific NW. You gotta take snow when you can get it. And they had a blast!
The wind chill was freezing. Brrrr..... I said it was time to come in. They disagreed. Their little cheeks were on the verge of frostbite. So I had to insist.
