It was a perfect day for a kayak adventure with my friends! Here we are - Amanda, Kim, Holly, me, Melinda, Connie, Kerry, and Carla.
Some of us have kayaked several times before. Others, this was the first time. Connie was a little unsure about the whole experience and it took some coaxing to convince her to let go of the dock! But as soon as she did, we were centered and we were just fine.
And we're off!
We found a nice little beach to stop for a snack.
Then it was back on the water.
And the only question we came away with - Why don't we do this more often? We had a blast!
