Dan and Henry were gone to the Scouts meeting, so Alice and I decided to go on a slug hunt/leaf collection tour. It rained most of the day and that's always a good time to go on a slug hunt. Not too much hunting involved really. Just have to make sure you don't step on them as they're all over the sidewalks! While we were at it, we collected leaves so the kids could do leaf rubbings. Aunt Elise warned us that one of the badges for Tiger Scouts involves leaf rubbings - and that if you wait too long, the leaves might all be gone. So Alice and I collected these beautiful leaves.
