Lots of ferns and lush, green moss everywhere. Alice and Owen did a great job hiking up a rather steep incline, and then we came upon this beautiful lake.
I love these two.
This turned out to be our picture perfect place to pose. 
Don't know what it was for, but this look on her face cracks me up.
Alice recently convinced Dan to give her our old digital camera. She had great fun snapping her own photos today.
Cool green trees.
And... tracks! Might have been bear. Or wolf. Or lion. Or sasquatch. Or, maybe just a dog?
There were several pretty waterfalls coming in to the lake.
Ahhh...
Signs of Spring.
Signs of beavers.
And, don't forget the deer.
We also found some cool black slugs.
All four of us had a great hike today. We even managed to leave with some extra energy.
