It's long been known that summer starts on July 5th in our neck of the woods. This year was no exception. Today's blue skies and sunshine (finally!!!) motivated us to go pick 10 lbs of raspberries then load up the bikes and go for a bike ride. We went riding on this fantastic paved road, closed to motor vehicles. It's a great bike road, and it feels like you can ride and ride. See that hill in the background? That's an island.
After living here almost six years, I still feel the novelty of living this close to water.
Such a nice day...
