It's been a full summer of hiking, biking, swimming, camping, boating, exploring, 1 broken ankle, lots of scrapes and bumps, and more fun than you can shake a stick at. But now it's time to get back to the ole routine and jump into school.

She was a little nervous about getting around at school with the boot cast. But I'm sure she did just fine.
Alice's teacher is new to the school this year. We met Mr. Nicholes last night at Meet the Teacher and he was very personable and engaging - Alice connected to him right away. In fact, Mr. Nicholes was so darn cool that Henry was jealous.
I'm quite sure Henry had a great day. He got the 4th grade teacher he really, really, really wanted and he was assigned to a table with three of his best buddies. Happy boy.
It was somewhere about this time that the kids were sick of me taking photos and were ready to just get to the bus already. They were excited!
