Every time Dan's Mom comes to visit, the sun shines. She visits us each year and I can't recall a single day that it's rained while she was in the PNW. Today was no exception!
After the mink farm, we went out to lunch near Acme, WA and enjoyed a fantastic view of "The Sisters" from the restaurant.
On our scenic journey, we checked out some beautiful "cabins" (which cost almost as much as our house) up near Mt. Baker. We'd love to get a cabin someday for all our ski weekends up there. But the ones with this view were about $300,000 more than the ones with no view. I think we'll focus our efforts on finding one with no view. We can always drive down the road a bit and see this.
We had a great day hanging out with Grandma.
So glad she came to see us so that we could all enjoy yet another lovely blue-sky day.
