Learned the difference between damsel flies and dragon flies.
Went pond dipping.
Took a canoe ride.
Made a frog that floats in the water.
Explored the river's edge.
Saw a beaver dam, deer, turkey vultures, herons, and so many bugs.
Came home singing songs about frogs and bugs. "Head, thorax, abdomen. Head, thorax, abdomen. Two antenas and compound eyes. Head, thorax, abdomen. Six legs!"
Toured a 100 year old farm house.
Made butter - really, she did - and she even ate it and said it was the best butter ever.
Searched for bugs using nets as they swooped through a field.
Saw bat poop - lots and lots of bat poop.
Saw a family of bats.
Observed a male dragon fly hold a female dragon fly up out of the water as she layed her eggs - really, that's what she told me!
Tie dyed a shirt.
Had so much fun with her friends!
