Henry and Dan marched with the Cub Scouts today in our town's Old Settlers Grand Parade. The boys did a great job!
Alice and I sat with some friends to watch the parade. We were hot. Very hot. Yes, we do have a tattoo parlor in our town, as seen in the background.
Following the parade, Alice and I met up with the boys for some much-deserved ice cream. I know Henry's hat looks a little goofy here - this is right before he took it off, took the scarf off, and unbuttoned his shirt. It's hard, and hot, work marching in a parade.
Shaved ice made everything better. Alice highly recommends it on a hot day.
