Homework

Henry had homework tonight. Took him about two minutes, and he was out the door to ride bikes with the neighbor kids.

Alice also had homework. The assignment was to complete the sentence: "I'm excited about kindergarten because..." In addition, she had to color in a bee on the top of the paper. After completing the sentence with "I like Mrs. Ross and I will have fun," she then asked me, "What color should I use for the bee?" I said, "They're usually yellow and black, but you can use any color you want." She said, "Good, I'm all done then. I'm coloring it white."
