Alice and I attended Kindergarten Orientation this morning. There are a couple kids from preschool in her class - always nice to see familiar faces. And several new kids whom I'm sure Alice will get to know soon.
Is it completely obvious that I was more excited than she was? I tend to work myself into a frenzy for every new school year. I'm a bundle of happiness/excitement/sadness/apprehension.
Alice loves her teacher and told me that she thinks Mrs. Ross is the nicest teacher she knows.
I knew the barrette wouldn't last long.
Now if I can just get myself through tomorrow - Alice's first full day as a kindergartener. She'll do fine. It's only me I'm worried about!
