Girl Scout Season

Happy day! It's Girl Scout Season once again.

Today, we resumed our Daisy Girl Scout troop meetings. It was so good to see these shining faces together again.

This meeting was mostly a refresher - we went over the Girl Scout Sign, Quiet Sign, Girl Scout Handshake, Girl Scout Promise, and Girl Scout Law. We learned some new songs from camp and made exciting plans for our upcoming year. The girls came up with all sorts of ideas which ranged from an overnight camp-out and learning how to start a campfire (we can do that) to a trip to Hawaii (probably won't get around to that). It was great to see their girl-led imaginations at work!

We ended the meeting with a rousing game of Catch A Daisy.

We're going to have another great Girl Scout year!
