Not long after arriving in town, the kids and I jumped back in the car and went to explore another nearby waterfall at Brandywine Falls Provincial Park.
The hike to the falls was really beautiful. We were on that "first day of vacation high" and all three of us were just about skipping down the path, we were so happy to be there.
Wow! It was beautiful. Not as high as Shannon Falls, but still impressive with that awesome pool.
Further down the trail, the view to Daisy Lake was just as beautiful.
Alice has her eyes closed here, but it's the only shot I have of the three of us, so it's worth posting. We had a great time admiring Brandywine Falls.
What could possibly make our day better? A bear sighting! About 10 feet from the window of our car. Awesome!
This little black bear was very cute.
Then back to town to hang with family, dinner, and a dip in the rooftop pool. Perfect way to start a vacation.
