By some strange coincidence, several of Alice's 5 yr old friends all learned to ride their 2 wheel bikes within the past week. To celebrate their new freedom, we all met up at the local cemetery for a bike ride. Flat, smooth roads with little traffic - a perfect place for the novice biker.
Apparently, we chose the hottest day of the entire month! The poor kids got quite sweaty.
But Lauren was still smiling. 
While Alice was being dramatic.
Roisin agreed that it was necessary to take several water breaks in the shade. Smart girl.
Liam was on his trike, but that didn't slow him down. He kept up with Jenica and all the other big kids. 
This kid is too stinkin' cute. 
The blue bike gang... Owen, Guyan, and Henry had fun racing around on the roads. When all the kids were together, they looked like some strange kid bike gang.

Did I mention that the kids got a little sweaty? Check out that wet hair, all plastered to his forehead.
Afterwards, we went for ice cream. A very nice afternoon!
