Mid-July and we haven't yet hit 80 degrees. I've worn shorts 2 times. It's chilly, gloomy, foggy, and rainy. I'm not the only one whining. It's all anyone can talk about these days!
So, when the sun made an appearance (after a cold, foggy morning), the temperature reached 71, and a friend called to see if we wanted to join them at a private outdoor pool.... we said yes!
It was a fantastic pool, even if it was a little chilly. The kids didn't care though - they had a great time.
I'm consoling myself that I'd really be whining if it was over 90. I guess I should just be happy with our low 70s this summer.
