Fat-Tall-Perfect

Another year and another trip to the tree farm to pick out the perfect Christmas tree. Henry wanted to find one that was fat and tall. Alice wanted one that was "perfect."

Last year, I seem to recall a bit of drizzle and some recent snowfall. This year, it was blue skies and chilly. We had fun searching through the 9 acres of trees. The kids and I even enjoyed a game of hide and go seek - lots of great places to hide! So many to choose from... But we found our fat-tall-perfect tree. Both kids helped Dan saw the tree down. Henry also did a fine job holding up the branches.

Timber!
We loaded her up and brought her home. Trees always seem not quite as tall when they're outside as they do when they're in your living room... An 8 1/2' tree will do that.
