We have two sets of friends who own property at a members-only "Camping Country Club" down on the Skagit River. After hearing both couples go on and on about how wonderful it is, we finally made the trip down to take a look. Quite honestly, it was hard to capture it in a photo. And it's hard to describe it in words. You just have to see it. But it really was wonderful. Hmmm... maybe an option for us someday?
The kids loved it. We had to drag them away after hours of playing with other kids, roasting marshmallows, eating Oreos, riding bikes, swimming in the fantastic pool, exploring the clubhouse, sitting around the campfire, and taking a look at the several sites which are for sale. It sure would be nice...

But I can't quite wrap my head around how we would ever find time to get down there to enjoy our part of the Country Club! Seems like our weekends are full enough as it is. But yet, it really was wonderful. Maybe some of our current activities could be adjusted?
